SATA: $135 + $50 USB enclosure = $185

or

PATA: $122 + $30 USB Enclosure = $152

Have open ports for both right now. On one hand, i'll probably be using this drive for a while so i'll want something that can be put into a newer system down the road. But it's a $30 difference and other than future compatibility (which shouldnt make a difference with a USB enclosure), it doesnt really benefit me in any other way. Well, i do like SATA because of the airflow thing but i dont know if its worth 30 bucks.

Decisions, decisions...

yeah thats what i was thinking too...

the only thing is that i may not use this drive as an external in the future. I guess i'll go PATA because that way i can use a cheaper enclosure and one that will work with my other drives too.
