I'd rather drive the Mustang, she likes the Maserati better. Trying to persuade her... probably wont work but worth a shot. We don't get a lot of date nights with 4 children. Going Saturday afternoon to early evening. Weather low 70's, no rain.

If you wanted to show off your cars you could have just done that, instead of posting some flimsy pretext.

Not a brag thread, could have made it one if I wanted.

mustang, windows down

This is how I like it, its too hot in middle of summer with humidity. I took out AC a few years ago. She likes the smell on me when I drive the car and come home, she doesn't care for it much on her when semi dressed up. I almost always prefer the Mustang though.

Neither. Stay home and clean that nasty looking driveway.

I just washed them, thats the water drying. And other people parking with an oil leak. I do need to pressure wash, and have been waiting. We moved into a new construction subdivision and they just completed the house across from us. They constantly had mud all over the road, which got into our drive way. I wanted to wait for that to stop. Now pressure washing everything because dust got on everything.

In the end, her vote is really the only one that counts, and she wants the Maserati tonight. But tomorrow for gym, we're taking the Mustang. So kinda a win/win for all involved. Managed to secure the booster seat with the rear middle anchor. Since the car was not made with anchors, took a bit of doing. But seat is secure now, and our littlest is forward facing now, so we're all good.

Heh... this is why I waited until my daughter was big enough for a booster seat before I got my new Mustang. I figured that having to reach into the back seat to belt her in would have been a pain.

Not a V8, so forget about the Maserati.
If the Mustang is also a V6, just get a cab.

Masarati = ride in a tow truck in like 2-3 hours whenever they pick you up
or old Mustang ... looks fast, drives slow ....

I guess I'd take the Mustang

That is a very difficult 1st world decision you have to make. I pity you.

Exactly what I was thinking ... except for the pity. This is the garage forum but I am very much underwhelmed and unimpressed when anyone "shows off" their rides. Most (but not all) rides are depreciating, overly-expensive-to-own-and-operate "assets" that I wish I could do without.

Such a first world problem ...

True, lots of people are hoping for a V8 Ghibli. Might happen with the new V8 Levante since they shared the V6. Still, it's got about 500hp, so not slow.

Mustang is a very built V8.

We took the Maserati, then Mustang the next day. This weekend is supposed to be nice, probably drive around the Mustang.

Yes selling both and buying something nicer is an option. I'm sentimental to my Mustang though, have had it awhile, put in a lot of work to it. Doubt I will ever sell. Need to keep 4 doors in two vehicles because we have kids too. Kinda limits the sport car selection. I did want a 2018 black Mustang, 50 years apart from my old one. Maybe one day.

Anyways, I lost the battle. But feel like I won the war. Or maybe she's just letting me feel that way.
