Help me decide what to buy

I want a TV tuner but I don't know what kind to get, internal or external.

I am specific in my choices, they are around the same price, and they are UK models (need to have DVB tuner).
Basically, it's whether to get a PCI tuner, or an external USB tuner. I'm probably going to upgrade the main system around October time, to a socket 939 system (with PCIe rather than PCI) so I may be limited in the number of PCI slots I can use, which might make the internal tuner an issue, while an external would be fine to have. But obviously it would look less desirable.
The other thing is I might make a small TV/media box using my current system (mobile XP for low power/heat), in which case, internal would definately suit me better, but as of yet, that's not a certainty 🙁 But if I had an external, I could transfer it from one PC to another more easily 🙁 (Going to uni so I might want to take the main PC homein holidays, but leave media box at uni, so having USB would be better for that)
It's all a bunch of possibilities in terms of future uses, which is what makes it difficult.

Cliffs: Internal or external TV tuner?
Going to upgrade to 939 in Oct, so PCI slots may be at a premium. Don't know what other PCI things I might end up needing so external may be better.
May also build a second box for TV tuner which would be low profile/low power media box where internal might be better.

I vote internal. Pieces hanging out of PC's isnt fun.

I use a PVR-250 in the UK hooked up to a Goodmans Digital Freeview box which also does DAB Radio.

Sweet setup even before tweaking.
