Help me decide: One 17/18inch LCD or 2X 15inch LCD?

My current 17inch samsung LCD is legible for dead pixel exchange. I have a choice of sticking with this monitor or upgrade to a 18inch LCD OR get 2X 15inch LCD and do a dual monitor setup. Of cos the 15 incher will be limited to a resolution of 1024X762 while the 17/18incher can do 1280X1024. What do u think guys? Help me decide. I use my monitor for some photo editing, graphics work and school work and stuff such as essays.

2 small monitors are still small

what would you rather have a 21" crt or two 17" crts?

while 2 are nice,and sure you get more acreage with 2 smaller,you still have 2 seperate monitors.

i like being drawn into games and movies like you get when on 1 big monitor(not as easy to do on two monitors)

would it benifit you to have the web open while doing your editing?or to watch a dvd while working?
then your answer may be different than mine.

until such a time as games can be run alongside dvd's or surfing etc...then i will always answer 1 big is better than 2 small
