Help me decide on this machine

Hello,

i have a dual pentium pro 200mhz with 512K cache and 256mb ram

what can i use this box for? i know its dual 200mhz but i dont know what is the most that it can handle.

or should i just use this for a file server only for my house?

if you had this machine what would you do? =)
and include your OS also hehe =P

Use a flavor of Linux or BSD if you like. File server, router, firewall, it should be able to do quite a bit.

I'd make it into a Linux box. If you need a server, load WinNT 4 server on it. Just my $0.02.

BTW, you mean 256MB of ram, right?
