Ok I know this is not a complete configuration forum, but the configurations I built have definitely a lot to do with CPUs, including every component in the system. So having this in mind I'm kindly asking for an advice on CPU platform as well as possible suggestions to maximize performance of these systems with other components. They are by no means cheap and what I'm looking at here is for a suggestion on what to pick as top of the line platform as well as good investment for let's say 2 years or so. Also I used SCSI for Intel platform because I think that SCSI relieves a lot of from CPU utilization as oppose to SATA Raid.

Usage for these machines is graphic design/web development/3d (Flash, Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, 3D studio max and similar). The question is what machine would be the most complete solution for me. Oh yeah and I'm a gamer so that's why I used regular top of the line gamer video cards as opposed to FireGL or NVidia Quadro or similar.

Thanks a lot kind people.

Get the thunder(2885) so you can have 64bit pci-x slots, and it requires an eps PSU like the Xeons. Thats my vote. And get two(or better yet 4) fujitsu 73 gig 15k rpm drives on a LSI megaraid 320-2 controller.
