In total I'm looking at spending between 800-1000$ for a decent gaming rig that should last me a while without needing to be upgraded. Since I've been out of the hardware scene for a while I would really appreciate some input on what you guys believe will be the best option for cost/performance/longevity of rig. Thanks in advance.
