Help me decide between these Viewsonic LCD's

Ok I have narrowed down my search to these two LCD's so I need some help on which one to go with. You can view them here:

Fry's has a special going on the 2230 today, so I can get it for $269, which is only $20 more than the 20 inch 2035. I think a 20 inch screen is plenty big for me though, so if it's a better monitor then I'll go with that. I'll be using mostly for web surfing and FPS gaming. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

both look like they have those dinky integrated speakers too

Is the "TN panel" a bad thing? Should I be looking at something else?

I really love my monitor. Go for the 22'' because the 20'' has major DVI issues.

I have the 22" Viewsonic, and am quite happy with it. Running from DVI 7800GS, use it mainly for web/email/video.

tn panels are pretty much the cheapest lcd panel made. generally low viewing angles and lesser color accuracy, compared to other types of lcd panels. the one advantage tn panels have over others is their lower response times. since both use the same type panel, you probably wouldnt have much difference between the two. also, i personally dont care too much for lcds that have integrated speakers. the sound quality is usually not very good.

Both monitors have the same 1680x1050 resolution, which makes things very very small on the 20-inch screen and easier on the eyes on the 22-incher. But even on the 22-inch screen, pixel density (pixel pitch) is still higher than on a standard 19-inch screen.
