Remarkably, this is one of the few resumes submitted here without dozens of flaws. All I can do is nitpick.

1) Your objective needs work. I really hope your carreer objective isn't to bend over and let yourself be manhandled by a company. Instead, your carreer objective might be more personal. For example, you might hope to achieve management position within 5 years. Make it personal to you and personal to the specific company you are applying for.

2) I bet it was just a conversion to fit Anandtech, but your bullets are not consistent.

3) I might consider reordering your bullets. For example, I would think that supervision of production and employees is an important experience, one that few applicants will have. In contrast, all applicants know how to use Word. So why bury the supervision and highlight Word?

4) Can you jazz it up at all? As it is, the whole thing is boring. Fixing the objective would certainly help. As would individual awards or honors if you have them. Dean's list is not individual nor will it make you stand out. But if you got Professor XYZ's award for outstanding skills in class ABC, that is an interesting and individual thing to put in the resume.

Here's one really good tip that works for me.
When you apply for a job, tailor your resume based on the requirements in the ad. This increases your chances of securing a good position.
Using Perl, if you did dabble in Regexps then put that down too.

Thanks guys keep the replies coming...this isn't mine, its my mother in laws. I'm in a good tech job right now, but she's gotta have something change she's doing all the IT work and not getting paid what she's worth.
