Well the time(and money) has finally come to complete my water project. I would just like to look over my list, make any alteration suggestions, let me know if I am forgetting anything.

What I have already picked up second hand:
Apgogee Gt
MCR320
MCP655

Whats sitting in my shopping cart at Jab-Tec:
10ft of Muskaleer 7/16
(3)Low speed yate loons
Thermalright Socket 775 Bolt through kit
3 Pin PCI backplate to power the yates
(2) Right angle SATA cables for some cable management I need to do to fit all this stuff in there.
Some blue UV die.
What I will get at Lowes:
1/2in T-line
some clamps

I'll pick up some bioside at the pet shop.

This is going to be a CPU only loop for, will include GPU at a later date when I upgrade it. I would like to keep my water clear. From my understanding all of my components are copper so there is no need for pentosin or anti-freeze, please correct me if I am wrong. I could live with blue pentosin if I needed to. Any suggestions or alterations you would make> Am I forgetting anything?

Thanks for the help.

the thermalright bolt kit wont work with the stock apogeeGT mounts.

You may want to pick up some D-Tek mounts.

Unfortunately Jab-tech doesnt carry those. But Petras offers USPS shipping, and if your cali, you'll get it b4 jab-tech's shipment in TX.

Option 2 since your going to lowes hardware, is to take the backplate and match the bolts and nuts with the backplate.
Then recycle everything else off the ApogeeGT mounting hardware. Take a spring with you to make sure that nut can tighten it. The last thing you would want is for the spring to pop out under pressure. If not get a washer to compliment the bolt.

Use zipties as clamps. Trust me on this. They work really great with 7/16ID tubing.

Thanks for the tip. The problem is the apogee I have did not come with a backplate at all, so I need a backplate. So do I need to get both the Thermalright kit for the plate and the D-tek for the mounting hardware? Or can I get away without using a backplate at all?

Also I am in NC. As long as I get by next weekend delivery time is not that important, I want to put it together Saturday.

go option 2 then. Or order the mounting kit listed.

The backplate is almost a definite must if your bowing the block.

And im sure if you place the order on sunday, it will get to you b4 the weekend.

Thanks, I'll just order both. I don't want to piece together my mounting system at the hardware store. For ten bucks it will make me feel better.

I use backplates I got from an old thermaltake kit. I just wanted to warn you if the backplate you use come with an adhesive tape like the thermaltakes did don't stick it to your board! The TT crap has caused many to pitch fits cause it won't come off without excessive force.

edit-
Distilled water, also is the rad mounted outside the case? radbox maybe? The Yates come w/ 4 pin molexes also if you don't care to bother w/ the backplate for powering the fans.

I learned my lesson with the adhesive backplates with a scythe ninja and my ultra-d. Yes my radiator is going to be mounted externally with a radbox. I was planning on clipping off the molexes and using the PCI backplate. I just thought it would give a much better appearance, although I can already see that its going to look really stupid but oh well. The way its going to have to be mounted is going to result in the rad sticking way up in the air above the top of my case. Hopefully the noise reduction and increased performance will be worth it.
