My work has an old "intranet" type setup, that they are finally upgrading. It will now have all kinds of info on it, instead of us having to go to various other places for our medical coverage, dental, vision, HR, etc... they are referring to it as a "portal". Supposedly we can create out own personal pages on it as well (which is a dumb option for a workplace IMO).
Anyways, the contest is to come up with a new name. The old name is "CityWeb". I can get various cool stuff if they choose my suggestion, including maybe a paid day off.
So far I have suggested a bunch of combinations of the words City, Access, Web, Portal, Home, and Express. Anybody have any other ideas? I can submit as many as I want.
