Help me clean my mouse... OPTICAL mouse...

That's correct, one of the few non-breakable parts on my optical is stick: my wheel. It doesn't glide, it stops at a certain point, and the only way to fix it is to perform dome surgery. err....

But how? What do I do? There are no screws, and I don't wanna mess it up.

It's an MS Optical, non-ergo, button on each side.

The screws are probably hidden underneath those pads on the bottom.

did you buy it retail ?
if so, why bother, it then has a 5-year-warranty, just get it replaced.

I have an intelli Mouse wheel that had the same problem...unscrew it, and use a x-acto knife...make the wheel a WEE BIT thinner...

And/Or cut notches in the wheel, so it's easier to grip/turn
