Non-widescreen 17" and 19" panels are 5:4 not 4:3, even less suitable for movie watching.

There are a couple of widescreen 17" panels now as well. These might be within range - consider them!

if you're watching movies, how about getting a widescreen monitor?

and what is your price range? $200? $150?

No no i did not mean i want it for media pc, i just mean sometimes i want to watch movies there as well, i usually watch it on LCD TV.

I am not from US, so my prices are higher, monitors within my price range are listed in here, its around 200$ locally, but display that cost 200$ in US can cost 250 here or more, so don't look at prices look at list pls.
