Hey ..
Just joined this forum ... need your help !
am looking for a notebook , for a multi media as well as some programming , i mean home and office use !
1) Which one should i select p4 or centrino ?
which is more reliable .... My friend has latitude , i dnt like it , gets too hot man !

2) If i go for centrino ... i have these two in mind HP ZT3000 series and Dell Inspiron 8600 .......... both around $1500 , Could ny1 suggest which one to go for ? Or if ny other then these r better !
Looks wise i think ZT rox ! but is Dell more stable/reliable than HP ?

1) Choose cetrino if battery life is a major factor for you. Also cetrinos are thinner and lighter than P4 machines... so its on you. Both are equally reliable and proven products.
As for the heat issue... most p4 lappys do run a lil hot.... mine sure does... You might wanna stick to a cetrino.

2) I own a 8500 (8600 with a P4 chip). Good machine, amazing screen. Hasnt given me trouble. A lil heavy... but ok for me...

Personally, I have had better experiences with dell than HP, both in terms of equipment and service...
