I'm going to visit my mom today and take her to the movies. Last movie we saw was W. I want to see Changling because I like Clint Eastwood's other directed movies but it's not getting too good reviews from Rottentomatoes. What else would be good to see? My mom is 56 and I'm 24.

Well, Changeling is getting 56% on RT, compared to W.'s 57%. It's also getting 87% amongst the user base.

I'd say see the movie you want to see...

Changling was very good IMO. I actually took my mom to see it to a Matinee show a couple of weeks ago. It's not Eastwood's best (I'm impartial to Outlaw Josey Wales and Unforgiven), however, this was a very solid movie. Your mom will probably like it quite a bit.

Soul Men was pretty good, if you're looking for a lighthearted fun movie and not expecting too much. RIP Bernie Mac...

Any theaters near you showing "Rachel Getting Married"? I saw that and Changeling last week and preferred the former.

We saw Changeling this past weekend. It's a nearly unbelievable story. My wife liked it but said she got tired of looking at Angelina's lips for two and a half hours. I'd have to agree. I think Clint's got a chubber for those lips.

There are a ton of close-ups of Angelina's face. Her red lipstick pretty much dominates the movie.

The bad guy in the film is one hell of an actor.

LOL! I saw that was the number one movie and realized this must be an epically slow week for good movie releases. Maybe the OP should try Blockbuster?

Well I'd really like to take her out. It's just nicer to take her out since I don't see her every day. I really wish there was some good movies out.

That guy was creeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy. I'm rather glad that the movie wasn't about the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders - did you know that the murderer was the spawn of his sister and father? Incest FTL.

No I didn't know that, but it sure is believable based on his performance. I've got a feeling we're going to be seeing more of him.

I just saw Changeling. I liked it and was different from what I thought it would be. The trailers don't give it justice and yea, her lips annoyed me after the first hour.
