help me choose some memory

I currently only have 2GB of ram as you can see in my profile, I would like to upgrade to either 4 or 8GB, but I am not sure which memory would be my best bet. I could either get another pair of 2x1GB Corsair xms pc3500 or just get a whole new kit. Any recommendations or suggestions?

I keep seeing all of these deals for 4GB or RAM and think to myself damn, I spent more than that for just one of my 1GB sticks. Seems that memory is so cheap these days.
