I have an AlienWare Aurora on order. The system has an Athlon? 64 FX-53 processor and ASUS SK8V - VIA K8T800 Motherboard.

I do not plan on overclocking or modifying the system. What I want to know is which RAM would be the best for my system? After reading the following article I assume the OCZ 512MB DDR400 Cas 2.0 would be the best RAM for my system and result in a small peformance boost.

My question for you guys is which RAM would you recommend as the absolute best? Please provide a link if possible.

Thanks in advance for any replies and your help!!

I like the look of those AWs... and they are kickass machines... but I'd still have built it on my own. I think the memory upgrade you're choosing should be fine btw.

Allienware doesn't offer OCZ ram? They do offer crucial as an upgrade. Good ram, even if you don't overclock. If you are not overclocking you may want to get the standard RAM with your Alienware to save some money... Alienware will back whatever you pick to put in your system :)
