I'm building a new PC and am torn between these two power supplies. Does anyone have any experience with the new Enermax manual fan speed adjustable series? I am mainly interested in a QUIET unit, although I of course want good, clean power. Here's what I intend to purchase:

Soyo Dragon + mainboard
Athlon XP 1600+
Zalman 3100Plus CPU Cooler (Copper Flower)
Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM (2X256MB)
Seagate Barracuda IV 60 or 80GB HD
CD-RW, DVD-ROM, etc
in an Antec sx800 series case (sx840 if I choose their PSU)

I have seen the review which found the Antec quieter than the Enermax Whisper series, but I am wondering if this newer Enermax may be the most quiet with the rear fan speed turned down to lower RPM's. Also, I have seen threads on the +5V line on the Enermax units being underpowered. I plan to add a couple of Pabst or Panaflow fans to the case for general cooling. Any experiences with these PSU's would be appreciated. Glad I found this great forum. THANKS.

I'd go with the Antec if the prices are the same, or the Enermax 431W as it is about the same price as the Antec 400W. Its a lot easier to replace a loud fan than to mod your PSU voltages.
