I'm in the market for some new wheels for an '03 Sterling Grey 530i. I've narrowed it to 3 choices..

Axis Penta in Hyperblack
Pros - beautiful wheel IMO
Cons - a little over my budget
Example on a 5 series

Beyern Mesh in Silver This wheel is only available in silver
Pros - price (they are not expensive at all), only made for BMW so fitments are perfect = less problems alignments, vibrations, etc.
#2 - Example on 5 series

#3 - 5Zigen Sports Engine in Hyperblack
Pros - could be the best made wheel of the bunch, decently priced
Cons - styling....I like them...but I don't love them
Sorry no example on BMW

Pollage in place.

I like the first ones best.

The second wheels have an older look to them, but they look good on that e39.

Me personally I like #1 because they are the darkest of the 3. I don't like bright wheels.

5 Zigens on a BMW? This ain't a Honda, get some proper wheels or don't bother.

Take offense if you must but sheesh.

i voted #1. how much more expensive is it?

edit: i agree with BouZouki on #2 having an older look and i agree with zerocool84 about liking darker rims more. i think light colored rims belong on light colored vehicles.

Black wheels are ugly on everything but a black SUV.

Stick with a classic BMW designed wheel. Put on someones take off M5 wheels and move on.

black wheels aren't one of the options...

and take off M5 wheels on a non-M5? Nah....

I guess I'd have to go with choice 2 out of those.

If I had a BMW I'd have to do it right. Either take-offs from another model, preferably an M, or maybe go BBS or HRE or maybe OZ Racing...dunno. HREs would be choice 1 but that'd cost two arms and 3 legs!

At least get a proper staggered fitment. I mean, there's no point to upgrading the wheels otherwise.
