It has become time for me to buy a laptop, to carry around to and fro school and such, i've got it narrowed down to three, and i'm leaning towards one.....but wanted some second opinions

Add $60 to the total of the first one, since i forgot to put the antivirus package

Have you tried the HP $200 coupon?

Wow, that is a nice deal.

I am looking at a setup similar to that with C2D instead of CD (CD choices are limited). In the 6400 series it is about $1100, and in the 1505 version it's over $1300! If I could get it for less than $800 I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Now wishing I had looked at laptops earlier..

Lithium381, I love AMD, but the C2D version of the DV2000 is what you should be looking at. It smokes everything else.

Matter of fact, I'm waiting to have enough money to get myself a DV2000T with the E7200 chip. It's gonna be great.

I got the 6400 Version, and I love it, I did upgrade to the better LCD, and the 7200 RPM hard drive, but I am running CAD on it. Mine was around $1000

I read that there was additional tax for the 6400 version because it's a "business" laptop. Is that right?
