Hi all,
I need some help with choosing between these mobo's:

ABIT AN8 SLI nVIDIA
EPOX EP-9NPA + ULTRA
DFI LANPARTY ULTRA-D
ASUS A8N-SLI

I am probably going to buy the one with the most votes. Thanks in advance.

If overclocking is your game: DFI or EPOX

The Epox, DFI and Asus are all good boards. All have quirks, but these can be overcome. Search the forums and google the boards and user experiences (with them with DFI look at DFI Street).

Abit may be good, but then again it may not. With Abit you are now guarunteed 100% Japanese capacitors, thanks to Abit's notorious leaking cap problem. Look at the reviews carefully, and decide before you buy. Abit is going through rough times right now, and they are not hitting home runs like they used to. It would be nice to have them in their old shape again.

Order in which i'd buy if money was no object, & assuming OCing is happening:

DFI
Epox/Abit (i like both mobos)

Asus

Yeah, i don't like Asus at all 😛

I have the Asus and the Epox boards you mentioned and they are both rock solid and nice overclockers. The DFI and Epox boards have more voltage and ram options for extreme overclocks, the Asus is a bit more noob friendly, I hear that the DFI is a little tricker to setup and can be picky with ram but is without a doubt the extreme overclockers board of choice. I don't think you would be disappointed with any of these three, but I don't know much about the Abit

I dont know much about SLI..But I have the AN8 and it couldnt be any more stable. Nice overclocking features and ram settings. Like a rock..

Well I'm Starting to lean towards the epox. The DFI sounds as if it carries a risk of having problems, the ASUS is kinda expensive and the ABIT got very little reccomendation's.
