Not to take away from the great GF4 4200 128MB thread already going, but I wanted to see if I can get some comments or input for my situation.

I'm looking to get a 4200 128MB card. Price is important, as I will also be upgrading to an XP1800+ CPU at the same time.

I'm not interested in VIVO, and not really interested in TV-OUT either. I'm basically just getting the card to play games with it. Overclocking is important, but I really only care about getting close to the 4400's specs. From what I've heard, most cards haven't had a problem with that.

With that, here's my short list:

Chaintech (regular edition): $167 shipped
MSI: $182 shipped
Gainward: $183
eVGA: $186

Since reviews are impossible to find on these cards, your recommendations would be much appreciated!

:) Ok, I think best is Gainward, they have best video quality, and awesome overclocking potential, as I remember they have reached something like 4600 levels with this peace, or some numbers below it, it is important buy.
In my country Gainward is too expensive, I think I will buy 128MB MSI, what someone know about MSI 4200 128MB, 64mb goes to 600Mhz memory level, so but I dont know something about 128 one, thanks for your attention, I wish you luck in buying (Gainward will be best)

I would go w/MSI or Gainward. I have an MSI Ti4400 in my PC and a 4200 in my dad's. Both are overclocked just a bit and I love them. Try Pricewatch for good deals. You can get the Gainward or MSI cards for under 180 w/shipping. Good luck!!
