I'm going to put a new set of tires on a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. After much shopping, the final candidates are:
BF Goodrich Advantage 91H
BF Goodrich Touring 91T
Is there a difference between the BF Goodrich Advantage and Touring other than the looks of the tread? (Sams claims that the Touring 91T has a 75,000 mile rating and the Advantage 91H has a 60,000 mile rating, but I'm not convinced that necessarily means that the 91T will last longer.)
Would the Goodrich Advantage H have better snow/ice traction than the Goodrich Touring T? Or would it be the other way around?
Both tires have a UTQG Treadwear rating of 560. Would the Touring T really have better treadlife than the Advantage H? (We're not planning to drive over 85 MPH so the speed rating itself isn't too important.)
