Help me choose between cable services.

I currently have Telocity DSL that's (600 down/90 up) for $50 and they suck.
I'm getting Roadrunner installed tomorrow. It's going to be around 1750 down(capped at 2000) and 280 up. RCN is also setting up their cables in the neighborhood and will offer around 1200 down, but 750 up.
The question is, which service should I get. I guess uploading would be very nice(at the cost of some download speed), but which service will be more enjoyable overall?

Depends entirely on what you plan to use it for. If you don't plan to ever offer any kind of outgoing service (ftp, gaming service, etc.) or won't use any applications that would benefit from a higher data rate out (like vid conferencing), then RR is the one. If the situation is reversed, go with RCN.

This is, of course, assuming one service isn't hellaciously more reliable than the other.
