Wondering which sound card will create create the cleanest recording from LP to HDD to CD.
I'm currently using the integrated sound from my P4P800Dx.. but i don't really like the results after i do the playback.

If anyone can recommend an excellent sound card for my rig to do this kind of recordings. Dont want to pay more then $50.00

Anyone out there that has an Asus P4P800 Deluxe + SB Live .. any conflicts? does this card keep you from overclocking better?

I just dont want a card that will cause conflicts with my P4P800 and 2.4c@3.6Ghz

Any input will be appreciated 😛

Get yourself an Audigy 2 card....it is by far the best commonly available reasonalby priced solution. The one real plus here is this card has a built in chip that uses hardware to remove as many of the pops and clicks as possible. You can enable this feature in the Recorder. I would still suggest you use some other software afterwards to remove any unwanted anomolies the chip fails to remove.....my favorite for quick and easy results is the wav editror in WinOnCD as it's denoiser is quite powerful yet easy to use.

Thanks for the 411 😛

I'll have to check that card in the next pc show.. looks like im gonna like the results soon, thanks !
