First things first, I have $957 to spend, including shipping. I could probably come up with the last $43 to make $1000 if need be, but 1k is definitely the cutoff.
If I have enough money leftover, I'd also like to get an HDTV tuner card.

Here's what I'll be doing with the monitor:

1. Obviously a lot of everyday computer stuff, surfing the web, typing papers, etc.
2. Play games...Doom 3 etc. I also play a lot of Day of Defeat.
3. Watch VOOM satellite. (I don't mean through the PC to the monitor, I mean a direct DVI connection from the set top box to the monitor.)
4. I plant to use a diplexor to seperate the Over The Air signal from the satellite signal so that I can capture OTA HDTV on a HDTV card.

A few hopeful requirements for the monitor, though not completely restrictive:
1. At least 19 inches, widescreen is good if not better.
2. At least 1600x1200 resolution
3. Less than 25ms response time.

Here's the monitors that I'm looking at, but I'm open to any other suggestions:

SAMSUNG 193P-Silver 19" LCD Monitor

ViewSonic VP201s 20.1" LCD Monitor w/ USB2.0 Hub

NEC/Mitsubishi LCD1980SX-BK 19" TFT LCD Monitor

SONY SDM-S204/B 20.1" LCD Monitor

NEC/MITSUBISHI MultiSync LCD2060NX-BK 20" TFT LCD monitor

SAMSUNG 213T-Black 21" LCD Monitor

DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Here's the HDTV tuner cards that I'm considering:

Hauppauge WinTV-HD (will their PVR-150,250, or 350 work?)

FusionHDTV 3 Gold ATSC/QAM Tuner Software Decoder

<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.digitalconnection.com/Products/Video/mdp120.asp">
MyHD PCI HDTV Tuner/Decoder card for your PC</a>

ATI HDTV Wonder

Again, I'm open to any suggestions, and also, if you can help me find any better prices for any of those products, I'd greatly appreciate it. I've got a few dell coupons, some g-mail invites, and 2 months of xbox live I can trade.

Thanks,
skew

Let me rephrase my question:

What monitor, listed here or elsewhere, will allow me to connect both my computer and my VOOM set-top box simultaneously?
I can't find any with 2 DVI ports. The Sony has 1 DVI and 2 HD15 (special name for VGA?)

Being able to play games would be a plus, but a good monitor with crisp text that will also be good for DVD and HDTV viewing are of prime concern.

Thanks,
