Since you're buying a P4... $10 says some1 is going to flame you for not getting an Athlon 64 ;) Lots of AMD fanboys here... Oh, and PCI-E is theordically faster than AGP, but there's no real performance gain yet. However, PCI-E will be better for upgradability.

Are intel dual core procs compatible with current socket 775 boards? That's something I'd think about if I was building intel right now...

Can't use dual cores with existing 915 and 925 boards... Gotta wait for 945/955 boards for that.

You shouldn't really be comparing those two. Try AGP vs PCI-E. Right now I'd say go for PCI-E just because it's cheaper.

Edit: That is to say, PCI-E cards are cheaper.
Sorry, I was thinking PCI-E or PCIx16 if I call it right.

PCIx16 is a 16x PCIe slot, all the current PCIe video cards require the PCIe x16 slot..
