Ok here goes - been looking to finally upgrade to a flat screen monitor, pretty late in the game I know and I was looking at a bunch of really cool Samsungs and LGs Dells etc etc and realized that the trend is to have as many connection options as possible (ie- HDMI, DVI) Now here's the thing I have a nice 40 incher with HDMI set up in my living room so I am pretty certain I won't be watching movies from my bed (computer's in the B-Room). I am an ocassional gamer but not first person shoot'em ups. Most I'll look to play is probably Starcraft 2 , when it comes out (god are the graphics requirements high on that one?) and then I usually don't play long. I do enjoy watching TV shows that have been downloaded from my screen at night but no Blu-ray or anything like that.
Are there any monitors out there that you would recommend to me that would have nice sharp colors about 23-24 inches that aren't on the high end of the price spectrum? I figure the really nice ones out there right now are priced taking into consideration the bells and whistles of the connection possibilities available.
Additionally I guess, am I being shortsighted in not investing in one of these port crazy monitors?
My budget is about $250-$300..or less.
