My mobo died and rather than completely buying a new system I thought now would be a good time to just upgrade the mobo and reuse everything that i currently have and then later start upgrading other components.
current build
amd athlon x2 4400+ am2 socket
mobo-dead
ram 3-1g 800mhz
psu-300-400watts i forget (i do know that it was a huge limiting factor in trying to do any upgrades)
hd-2 1t seagates
and some video card i got for watching 1080p movies on the hdtv
I want to reuse everything but later upgrade to a phenom x4. Once i save a bit more money i can upgrade my psu and then in the end move to ddr3 and another new mobo.
So since Im not savy in keeping up with computer parts and specs what can some of you recommend for my current situation?
