Help me choose a LGA 775 Mobo

I originally thought of the AS8 because of it still having the AGP. But now I've been thinking of just going for PCIe. Anyways, what are good motherboards? I'm not looking for the 925X series and one of the biggest things I'm looking for is for both DDR and DDR2 compatability. I've heard of some motherboards shutting down early because of heat issues in a roundup that I read over in tomshardware. Anyways, the few I found were the AG8 and the Gigabyte GA-8I915P Duo Pro.
