Help me choose a laptop

I have screaming fast computers at work and home. I also have wireless internet access to those computers anywhere around work and home. So basically all I need is a laptop, with long battery life, light weight, wireless internet connection, and enough computing power to run Redhat Linux and some word processing programs. Basically a 800 Mhz chip and a USB port (if wireless isn't integrated) are all I really need. I do not need a big hard drive, cd-rom, or graphics. Just a dumb terminal. I've thought about the Via C3, Eden, and Antaur chipsets as well as transmetta Crusoe and Efficion based Ultra Thin & Light Notebooks, but I can't seem to find anyone that sells them. Atleast not in the US.

Thanks for your help.

How about cost? How much money are you willing to spend?

IBM had a sale on a laptop with a Pentium M 1.4, 3Lb weight, 12" screen, and 5.5 hr battery life. Check Hot Deals.

Considering I don't need softare, or any real power, I wouldn't think it would be all that expensive. Cheaper the better, but a G is reasonable.

This might be something look at, not very expensive, probably the best you'll do new, unless maybe you checkout the 799.99 Gateway Laptop special. The only problem with these are the battery life, you're probably only looking around 3 hours max, since they aren't using mobile chips. You could also checkout the Lindows laptop, it's pretty inexpensive and you could just wipe Lindows off of it and put Red Hat on there if you so desired.
