Help me catch my roommate in the act. I need some webcam software advice.

Ok, I am almost positive one of my 3 roommates is coming in my room and using my stuff w/o my consent. Well I've got a webcam now but i don't know what software i need to get for it to take Screen caps every so and so secs or mins. Any tips would be great. Its a 3COM HomeConnect webcam and I am running XP Pro.

Gotta love my P4B533-V it has a bios lock that prevents booting without the password so doesnt matter on the OS... (and yes I have a locked case as well...)

why dont you just lock the computer (assuming youre not using win9x. damn near everything else supports it).

Bah, not my computer. I mean stuff like most of my Polo Sport is gone and I haven't used it yet. I just got a fresh can of AXE that I have used twice and its almost empty. Stuff like that, I lock my computer case and windows. Door nob has a lock but its the stupid kind you can open with a flathead screw driver.

Just put some thermal bond epoxy on the door knob, when they try and enter they'll be stuck to the knob and you'll have your evidence.

Jeebus, every door in the apartment has a deadbolt and a knob with a lock. Everyone has the same key so anyones 2 keys will open all the doors. Don't ask me why this place did it I dunno. Who ever is doing it is OUT! Thats why I want to catch them in the act. Is it that hard to understand?

There is a simple solution. Microsoft has an XP Power tool that makes your webcam take pictures and same them automatically in a folder of your choice.
