im down to these 2...please help me pick!

i had a dell 2001 and dont like it...i want something with 1280 res, low response time

viewsonic

Samsung

im leaning towards the viewsonic...any help would be appreciated

Ever lok at the BenQ FP937s? its got 12MS response time and 1280x1024 res. DVI etc etc. I've seen some great reviews of it.

Benq link Iv'e seen it for pretty cheap to on hot deals sites. ~$420ish I think

While I kind of like Samsung, They seam to be over priced, I would say Viewsonic gives you the best bang for your buck.

the viewing angle of the benq is too low imo...thats why im sticking with the other 2. the viewsonic is brand new this was the only review i was able to find about it.

What does ther viewing angle really matter though.. Don't you ussually just sit directly infront of the monitor?

I'm also looking to buy an LCD. I want 19" with DVI. It won't be for gaming though. It's just for my music production computer. Any recommendations guys? I was going to wait until Dell has deals on their 19" and get it (it'll be under $500).

Does anyone use that Benq monitor? Is that a good brand?

Also I heard you should get 19" as opposed to 17" for LCDs because of the resolution or something. Is this true?

really? I thought 19" were the same as 17" in that it goes up to 1280 resolution. and that you should get 21" if you want higher resolution. They go up to 1640.

I think they said that because 1280 resolution looks better on a bigger screen
