Hi! I think this is my first post in here.

I have a MSI GeForce4 Ti 4200 with 64 DDR Mem and AGP 8X. I bought it in 2002 and I think its time for a upgrade. This vid card has marvelously performed in all games I have played including Madden 03-05, Live 03 and 05, Age of Mythology, Age of Empire I, II, Warcraft, Hulk, among others.

Most of the recent games are coming out with a minimun requirements in 64 MB vid card. I think that's one of the reason why I've decided to get a new vid card.

I'd like a vid card with the following:

at least 64 MB
AGP or AGP Pro 8X
at least 250 core speed
and at least 513 memory speed

why 250/513? because that's what my ti4200 has.

I have roughly $100, what vid card would you recommend with the specifications mentioned above?

Thank you in advance guys.

Dude,^^ that is a bargain. 144 sheets after the mail in rebate. You can't beat that, bang for buck.

I used to play AoM on the card you had, and I now have a 6600GT, the difference is very noticeable at higher resolutions with AA/AF on :D.

Thank you Martinez :) I might just take your advice and buy the 6600GT since now I work for Fry's Electronic and we as employees get a 10% off on every products :)

Yea go nvidia. The 6600GT or 6800 with SM3 is quite good. Although you won't be able to play @ high settings with those cards they look quite good nonetheless.
