Help me buy a laptop

Needles

I'm moving to another country soon and want to get a laptop before I leave as I won't have my desktop for a few months. I deally I don't want to spend more than $2500 and obviously the cheaper the better 🙂

I would like a DVD with it as I not only have movies but my Technet subscription is also on DVD. I also want to use Windows 2000 as the OS and want as much expandability as possible (I know, it's only a laptop). I would also be using it for the internet and playing some games on it.

Ideally, I would like to get one from a reputable company that does good warranties and will allow me too get it serviced, if need be, in other countries.

I really wanted to build one myself but I'm pretty sure this is out of the question. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks
