Help me build new PC

i need some help putting up new computer.
i've built some computers before but they were like P2, P3 which all use sdram and pc100 or 133
The one have right now, is P3 700@1G.
I've never even touched any of the "new" cpus running faster FSB and DDR.
So I'm wondering , if they have different ways of building or something?


I'm looking upgrade to 1.5G~2Gmhz,
i'll be need new cpu,mob, and ram ?

which cpu is most bang for the buck
recommandations for mobo and rams?

still pretty much built the same way, just keep reading the forums. you'll find people pretty much breakdown to AMD vs. Intel.

epox 4g4ai mobo
intel p4 1.8A CPU
512 MB pc2700 ram

built two system for friends with those exact specs. Hey PcFetish, what kind of budget are you looking at? maybe that will point you in the right direction.
 
I think i'll go with 1.6a and try to O/C it.
is there any good o/c mobo without any junks attached?
I'm looking at local shop mobo list and almost all of them have either sound card or Lan or both.
