I'm finally upgrading my dinosaur box.. t-bird 750 running on an ECS K7S5A.
Here's what I'm thinking of getting:

Athlon XP 1800 retail

Soyo Dragon Ultra (KT333)
-or-
Asus A7V333

Corsair CAS2 PC2700

ATI Radeon 8500 128MB

WD 1200JB (thanks, ATHD forum! 😀)


1. Is there a better CPU/Mobo combination to get right now?
2. Should I wait for the KT333A or KT400 chipset to come out instead?
3. Should I not have faith in VIA's attempts to predict the future and stick with a KT266A board?
