Thanks.. you sure the ABIT mobo will work with a 64 processor?

And yes.. I have lots of money thats gonna be wasted anyway.. might as well invest it.. I want the best of everything.. even if I decide to get a little cheaper.. I still would like to know the best of all

I just checked a website for the Abit mobo.. it only works with socket 754(Athlon 64 3200+).. not socket 940(51-FX).. am I wrong.. or will that not work?

i would lean towards the asus.

although they are both quality boards, asus (and abit) are usually on the cutting edge of mobos but gigabyte isnt far behind

If your going with a 10K budget, then atleast do it properly.

Pentium 4 Extreme edition 3.2GHZ
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
2GB of Corsair XMS PC3200
ATI Radeon 9800XT
2 X 73GB 10KRPM WD Raptors in raid 0 for games
1 X 250GB WD Caviar For Storage
Plextor PX-708A 8XDVD-RW
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro
Antec TruePower 550W PSU
Arctic Silver 5
FunC Mousepad
Windows XP Pro
Zalman CNPS7000-Cu Heatsink/Fan
Klipsch Promedia 5.1 ULTRA
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite
Samsung 243T 24" LCD
Coolermaster ATC-110

I dont know what that all costs, but you cant do better then that.

Thanks gary.. Ill probably get 4x Raptors because I already have a file server.

Not sure about that monitor.. I was thinking the Dell 20 inch.. dont really need that much space anyway.

And lastly.. im going to get a Athlon 51-FX.. and my computer is going to be watercooled..(Yeah I know how to do it.. ill be careful :)
