How many albums can you listen to at a time?

Should I carry my turntable into my bedroom/ office just to be able to listen to records? The easy solution would be to purchase two. Also the Ortofon cartridge is much better suited towards rock and pop music than the Sumiko Pearl.

Hmmmm, my easy solution was to use the three zone capability of my AVR and put speakers in the places/rooms I like to listen.

I already have a AVR in my bedroom. Plus the 2nd zone on my living room AVR is being sent outside to the back patio...

How to become a hipster...
-Purchase sweater vest, jeans with holes, Converse All Stars, and non-perscription glasses with the thickest frames you can find.
-Drink Pabst Blue Ribbon
-Purchase a turn table and vinyl albums. Display it prominently in your living room, but never actually use it. Point out to friends how much better vinyl is compared to their iPod.
-Purchase an Apple product, just to say you own one. You're not sure why you like it, or even how to use it.
-Hang out at an ironic bar. A co-worker of mine is a classic hipster. He's Arab yet goes to the local country/line dancing club.
-Read Adbusters and liberal newspapers. Mock friends reading anything else.

Living in Portland, I can say this is a very comprehensive and accurate list.

Oh, to be a hipster in the know, you should currently be wearing Wayfarers. Hurry, that irony won't last.

Isn't trying to be more hipster against hipster philosophy to being with?

Oh no. Hipsters try HARD to be more hipster. It's a lot of work to get to something, talk about how great it is, then ditch it when everyone else starts to like it. That shit does not come without trying.

And then there's the whole endeavor to one-up other hipsters. Who do you think is stroking their ironic mustache harder, the first hipster to get a fixie or the first hipster to put on a tiny fedora?

And as far as the first hipster to put on a tiny fedora, do you know how hard he's out there campaigning, insisting that he did it before Justin Timberlake?

PBR from a can is not hipster. It may just be somebody saving money and going with cheap lager vs a good ale.
