Help me ATOT

I am currently working for one of my Professors in her lab. The pay is terrible (enough to cover rent basically). I was talking to another prof. of mine to see if he had any side projects I could do for more money. Anyways, he tells me he has this project, but it's not really a side project. He said it would demand full time hours. The pay is more than what I'm currently getting but it's not spectacular.

Now, here is where the problem is. I am already committed to the professor I am working with so quitting is not an option. Furthermore, with tuition increases, I could really use the money. It would look awesome on my resume to have both listed (especially during the same summer). However, I'm not sure if I can handle two jobs. I don't want to take on this second project and not be able to complete it. I don't want to sacrifice the quality of the first project either.

Any suggestions on what I should do?

seems like you answered your own question. You can't handle both jobs at once. You're already tied to your first job. You don't want to fail at the second job.

Don't take it.

Well, that's the other thing. I spend a lot of time neffing here at my current job. I don't really do much 'work' so to speak. I know it's going to get a bit more challenging in the weeks to come, but I'm not sure how challenging.

Maybe talk to current employer, mention financial situation and that you have another job offer for more money.

What's the difference in pay we're talking? Since your current job is part time, maybe you can find another job that pays better to fill in the rest of your hours and then you win.
