Before I move on to being prepared with cloning abilities and mobile Internet and what-not, please help me assemble a "tackle-box" of sorts for a mobile PC tool-kit.
So I'm starting a list including what I have & what I need. Please tell me what I should add to the list 🙂
Floppy Disk cleaner and known-good drive (Don't have 🙁)
Crossover cables (Got 'em)
Assortment of fans and coolers (Eh, some sizes)
Known-good CPUs (Eh, very few)
Known-compatible DIMMs (Need to get some)
PSU tester (Got one, possibly not adequate)
2.5? to 3.5? drive adapter (Cable and plug type, got 'em both)
Laptop CD-ROM to IDE adapter (Got it)
Laptop floppy to 40-pin floppy connector (Got it)
USB HDD enclosure (Hot-swap capable?)
USB + PS2 Keyboard (Got it)
USB2.0 hub (Still need one)
Strap-less anti-static wrist-band (Need one)
Assorted IEEE and USB cables (Serial/Parallel, Centronics, A/B, etc Got most 🙂)
PS2 to AT Keyboard converter (Got it)
Modern optical USB/PS2 mouse (Got it)
Modern mouse with serial adapter (Got it)
Large FAT32 formatted HDD (Got it)
Network cable tester (Need one)
Gender changers (Have many types, no VGA though)
