Help... MBProbe temperature readings....

Just downloaded MBProbe, and it tells me that my mobo is at 43.7 celcius! Is that bad? My system isn't overclocked (133MHz FSB, 1200MHz processor)... it also says my CPU is at 33.3, which seems pretty good. What can I do? Is this correct?

well, your cpu certainly IS cool. but your system seems quite hot. do you have any cooling fans in your system (if so, how many, and where)

also, are you sure you don't have the 2 numbers mixed up? 33 sounds a lot more like a system temp while 43 sounds a lot more like a 1.2 ghz temp

That's what I thought... I'm using an 8K7A... should I use different software? I installed USDM from the CD, but it doesn't like that.

you could try motherboard monitor, i know it supports the 8k7a

just do a google search for "motherboard monitor" and you'll find it for download

have you tried rebooting and going into "pc health" in the bios to see if the bios temps are anywhere close to your mbprobe temps?
