Help making bootable cd?

I need to update my bios through a pure-dos mode on my ABit BH6 mobo. Only problem is that I dont have a freakin' 3.5 diskette drive that works 🙁. Im using winoncd 3.7 power edition, but the setup for a bootable cd is a little confusing. When you choose the "bootable cd" option for recording, it gives you a choice from where to boot from, and the choices are the main partition, or the broken 3.5 diskette drive. I just dont get it, if anyone could tell me how i could use a CD-R disk to boot me into dos mode and have all of the files, like bios update files, on it would be great.
