TheOneRing.Net has begun their mass mailing campaign. If you enjoyed LOTR and want to see The Hobbit's rights sorted out AND done by PJ and his crew, I think this is definitely worth a few minutes of your time (and a few cents on some stamps).

This is wave 1 of the campaign. New addresses will be posted in 3 weeks apparently.

PJ was the one who told fans to do this if they want it made, so get on it!!!

Well for something like this, it's a hell of a lot more effective. Emails can be mass-delated in one or two clicks. Now thousands upon thousands of letters arriving....that's just annoying

Yes, and they need to do this quickly as Ian Mckellin (sp?) is starting to get old. Wouldn't be the same if he wasn't Gandalf.

I hope you're joking but if you're not, he didn't ruin the books. Last I checked LOTR by J.R.R. Tolkien is still available for sale and was not modified by Peter Jackson.

Now if you want to see a relatively short film adaptation of the books, check out his films!
