Help! Major problem with my new p4b533

I just purchased a p4b533 along with p4 2.26b and 512 crucial. I am trying to install win xp but I keep getting errors. The errors occurs when it tries to copies files to my hd for preparing the install. First, the files won't copy over and then a blue screen pop up. It says, "Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to the computer."(Something like that) Sometimes the error is (PAGED_IN_NONPAGED_AREA) or (NTFS.SYS - error cause by this file). I dont' know, I tried with different rams, different hd, I put the chip in a different motherboard (which ran perfectly). I got it to install once but I had to drop the cpu speed down to 1.84 to get it working. But it became very unstable, just kept crashing over and over again, until I wasn't able to load xp anymore. Anyone can help? Much Thanks. 🙁

I tried turning the dipswitches to suit the needs of my motherboard. I set it at x17 Multiplyer 133mhz (FSB), 66/33mhz (AGP) that didnt' work. So i turned it all over and that didn't work.

I only got once chance to get winxp running :\ and I tried installing that. The bios temperature says around 35C. I am using the stock fan, but I clean the bottom off and put some thermal paste on. I haven't really tired it with a full load to see the temperature. The power supply i am using is enermax 400w. It works fine with my other computers, so I don't believe that's what causing the problems.

I did change rams with my friends to test it out, and yet it's still not going anywhere. I ask a few of my friends and they don't see anything wrong with it. I think I am gonna throw it back to the retailer and get an exchange or something. 🙁 Hopefully they have a good return policy.
