I am in the process of installing a UMAX PowerLook 2100XL, and downloaded the Magic Scan 4.5 software site. However, after installing it, Windows Vista started freezing while displaying the loading bar.
The bar goes for about 30 secs, and then freezes.
I tried uninstalling the software, but the problem did not stop.

If anyone want's to compare their structure ("dir /s /b \windows > a_file.txt" then use "fc") I could e-mail you the file. It's not up as of this writing, but check Darkholme.sytes.net/dabones/dir-b-s.txt for a download of the file. Check tomorrow, sometime in the afternoon.
I listed it above, but I used dir /s /b \windows
