Sound off for Autism has a fundraiser where celebrities will record your voicemail for a donation. You choose to script what they say for up to 20 seconds. Each celebrity agreed to do up to 50 recordings and it looks like only one person picked Michael Dorn so far. I would have thought there would be more Trekkies. Maybe they all already bought one when they had William Shatner and Patrick Stewart do this in a previous year.

I got mine from Vin Scully, who understandably was the first to sell out. I'm thinking about doing another one from Adam West, but I can't think of anything clever for him to say.

This is actually a damn cool idea, but I am too cheap to pay $299. those prices are not bad, though, really. i think more celebs should do this! I want David Puddy (Seinfeld, and Joe on family guy) to do mine.

tempting isn't the word. a personal/family adam west recording could be a family heirloom for your grandchildren's grandchildren to cherish. some might scoff at the camp of his most famous work, but it is a defining piece that will never be forgotten. vivaldi was under-appreciated in his time, as well.
