After 4 months of returining 2 defective ATI AIW 9800 cards, I finally received my 3rd card but now I cant find my original setup disk and therefore cannot install the latest ATI MMC. Anyone out there willing to help?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,
I got the drivers, but the Multimedia Center (TV) software will not install without the ATI disk. I tried my old 8500 disk, but that wont work.

If you dont have your original CD you have to download the MMC without the DVD player.

I think, if you dont install the dvd player you should be able to install MMC. Not sure though, worth a try. Use power DVD instead or something

The cd is needed to download/install the dvd decoder, the dvd decoder is needed by the dvd player.

You have to install DVD 7.6 prior to installing MMC8.9. When istalling MMC 8.9, do a custom install and uncheck DVD and you should be good. Look for the gemstar folder on the install CD for the EPG, install it first and it will have the icon on the launch bar, update it with its update wizard.
