Help!!! Long Boot up time with Asus A7V motherboard

mpd drivers take a long time to load...I think 30 seconds is good, since it is probably scanning the drive's bus...then again I could be wrong, but I think that 1:30 is not that bad at all

I don't know anything about the mpd drivers, but it only takes 10 (sometimes 6) seconds for the Promise ATA100 Bios to detect the harddisk during boot up. I wonder why it takes so long in windows.
