You need some really close friends or you gotta be willing to take a 10% discount.

There are online sites to sell or trade gift cards, IIRC.

Or you can try flipping some Lego. I heard there may be a shortage this Christmas.

Question... why do you NEED to liquidate it? Surely with Christmas coming up you'll find a use for at least some of it, and can use the rest throughout time.

Ask people you know if they want anything from Amazon and then offer to buy it on their behalf in exchange for cash?
Christmas is coming up so people may be making larger than usual purchases.

Is there a hobby you might want to get into, like Electronics? You'd be surprised all the hobby stuff you can find there.

I find Amazon is good for variety, and if you're not in a hurry (some stuff can take months to ship, that's the part of Amazon I find is pretty terrible)

They sell camera lenses and stuff too if you're into photography. You can get a half decent lens for 550.

Great now I have to convince myself not to buy another lens because I just mentioned that.

I am in the same boat as OP but my Amazon account is even larger (over $1K). I have been buying Tide soap and toilet paper..hehehehehe.

Why don't you ask your relatives, friends if they're buying anything on Amazon. And if they do, offer them a discount if they pay you with cash?

Have a closed family/friend open an Amazon Seller account and find a category that amazon takes less of a commission. Hek, you could just create a 2nd account, reverse your name. List/sell a "product". You buy it with your virtual currency and they will deposit the cash into seller account.

Now I have to let the wife convince me not to buy a lens because I read you mentioning it. Sigh. 😛

stock up on Dilithium crystals!! They will be valuable in the future....

They already are in the Star Trek Online MMO 🙂

OP if your budget allows donating to children's hospitals to help sick kids I was serious about Child's Play. The annual AnandTech forums donation drive will be starting within a week or two.

I really want a wide angle lens, but then I think of how often I'll use it (probably not that much but there are times where I wish I had one). I have a hard time justifying near a grand for a decent one.

But... it would be nice. 😀

But, the scenery pictures. Space pictures!
